How we started...
Founded on Valentine's Day 1978 by Dennis and Deborah Koch, Air-Craft Environmental has always been all about top performance and reputation. For our first 13 years, we did not even have a telephone listing. All our business was referral-only. We eventually took a white pages listing because a few local customers expressed mild annoyance with remarks like, "Did you know we had to get your name and phone number from someone in Los Angeles?!"
Who we are...
It's in our DNA. Service Manager, Jeff Koch, has been with the company 26 years. Brothers Dennis and Jeff, both with over 30-year memberships in the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society, possess a combined refrigeration service experience of 72 years. That also includes 62 years in cascade systems and environmental test chambers. Their father, Jake Koch, was long renowned in the HVAC/Refrigeration business in Rochester and many parts of the US. Even their grandfather was an ice man!

We are the Factory Authorized Service Center for nearly all test chamber manufacturers.
We have provided Tenney factory service continuously for 27 years.
We created the environmental test chamber rental market in the US and opened a new category in the Thomas Register of American Manufacturers: Environmental Chambers, Rental.
Air-Craft presently owns nearly 300 environmental test chambers of various makes, types and sizes.
Customers frequently purchase time in our larger, complex, and high-performance chambers for daily and weekly testing needs in our laboratory.
We limit our service territory to the Albany, NY to Erie, PA region - declining most other requests.
We network with the most expert environmental chamber colleagues around the country.
